Program Manager for Administrative Office of the US Courts (Tysons Corner, VA or Remote Opportunity)

Immediate opportunity!  Looking for an experienced Program Manager with extensive Contracting Office experience to support the Administrative Office of the US Courts, the administrative arm of the Federal Judiciary.  This work will be on a Project by Project basis as-needed; duration of the first Project to be approximately 4 months of intermittent full-time and part-time work, with the possibility of follow on work later. 


Job Responsibilities:

Project 1:  Our Program Manager will lead a team of experts in developing a training program for AOUSC’s Procurement Management Division (PMD) acquisition workforce.  Our Team will use a list of high level competencies and map these competencies to recommended training courses for development of employee knowledge.  We will also research and identify the external and internal training sources for the recommended training courses.  Our Team will also interview the acquisition workforce and draft a training model for AOUSC/PMD’s acquisition workforce employees to follow that includes strategies for implementation, communication and follow-up. 


Required Experience and Knowledge:

  • Minimum 12 years of experience
  • At least five (5) years contracting experience with knowledge of contract provisions, terms and conditions and contract types
  • Direct Business/Analytical leadership experience, of which at least four years must be specialized in professional services support. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any combination of the following fields:  accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods or organization and management.
  • Must have FAC-C Level III, DAWIA Level III or equivalent certification
  • Must have current PMP certification

Senior Business Analyst - Human Resource Management (Pentagon, DC)

Looking for a Senior Business Analyst with DOD and Federal Government Human Resource expertise and documented human resource management experience.  The Senior Business Analyst will support the Secretary of the Air Force Acquisition Career Management Office (SAF/AQH) whose role is to oversee Air Force Acquisition workforce policy and strategic planning as well as training, development & management of civilian and military acquisition resources.


Job Responsibilities: The Senior Business Analyst - Human Resource Management will provide a broad range of comprehensive human resource management services to train, develop and implement improvements to the human resource management workflow in support of the SAF/AQH mission. 


Duties will include, but are not limited 

  • Provide guidance and implement improvements to civilian hiring and resource management in SAF/AQH
  • Assist organizations in the conversion to the Acquisition Demonstration (AcqDemo) Project and continue development of the Air Force AcqDemo websites
  • Train, develop and manage civilian and military acquisition resources


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Current and Active DOD SECRET clearance
  • U.S. citizenship 
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Must have 10 years’ experience, including:
    • At least 5 years DOD federal government human resource management experience
    • Must have an additional 5 years of experience in other human resource and hiring management in the public or private sector 
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (specifically PowerPoint, Excel and Word)


Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with AcqDemo, CAS2Net, or other federal government human resource management system
  • Senior Professional Human Resource Certification
  • Air Force Acquisition experience

Looking for an Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative duties while working under general supervision, and in most cases, makes independent decisions and commitments regarding the program's administrative activities supporting the MPCC and 99 RS/1 RS Squadron Commanders. 


The Administrative Assistant will assist the Program Director in the daily management of the administrative workflow throughout the MPC. 


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Answer phones and serve as the point of contact for general questions, to take and deliver messages or mail.
  • Maintains organizational charts, calendars, email distribution lists, and other documents as required.
  • Work in concert with administrative teams at the Squadron, Group, and Wing levels as required.
  • Coordinate all CONUS and OCONUS travel arrangements for all contract personnel under this TO.


Competencies: 

  • Significant experience with Microsoft Office Applications Suite, including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong mastery of grammar and spelling.
  • Basic accounting skills.
  • Knowledge of booking CONUS and OCONUS travel, including, but not limited to: Air, Hotel, and Rental Car.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum Government Security Clearance Required: Active Secret
  • Minimum Experience: None.
  • Minimum Education: None.
  • Minimum Certification: May be required to pass a standard physical examination that includes, at a minimum: medical history, height, weight, blood pressure, HIV antibody, and chest x-ray. .
  • Required Skills: Significant experience with Microsoft Office Applications Suite, including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Travel: All Contractor personnel shall be deployment eligible and may be required to travel outside the continental United States. Deployment eligible personnel shall be required to obtain and maintain a valid US Passport. VISA requirements shall be determined by State Department for each location. Contractor Personnel in a temporary duty (TDY) status require a minimum a 120-day VISA unless limited by country of entry.


Desired Competencies: 

  • Five (5) years’ minimum experience providing administrative support.
  • Familiarity with the provision of USAF administrative support at the Squadron and Group Levels.
  • Familiarity with the Defense Travel System (DTS). 
  • Experience as a DTS Authorizing Official.
  • Familiarity with Joint Travel Regulations.
